An applicant must submit an application to the Department which notes:
- the applicant is at least 18 years of age
- proof of successful completion of all initial training requirements
- 4 hours of Electronic Security Core Subjects
- 10 hours of Electronic Security Technician Subjects
- Initial Registration Application
- Fingerprint card

There is a 4 hour requirement for Electronic Security Technicians every 24 month renewal period
All Elite CEU, Inc. courses and Certifications are available for General Education (not CEs).
(courses are not approved for renewal classes at this time)
There is a 3 hour requirement for Journeyman and Master Electricians (ELE)
